Presenting iconic Sir Paul McCartney as a dancer remains a standout moment. From day one Roberts wanted his understated cool to translate to the dancer’s bodies rather than him be manipulated to dance “like them”. Using state of the art motion control computer cameras they filmed Sir Paul first and taught his improvised moves to the dancers over a week-long workshop. These incredible dancers learned to dance the ‘Sir Paul’ style and on the shoot, the computer wizardry united them.
